Kind LED’s top-performing grow lights have officially been chosen by the Desert Research Institute of Nevada, which is part of the Nevada System of Higher Education, for their horticultural LED study. The study will use the K5 series XL1000 to cultivate a range of plants, including sunflowers, algae, microgreens and hops. The Kind lights will be tested in eco-cells with completely controlled environments. Kind LED lights were chosen because of their adjustable spectrum and demonstrated, exceptional performance. Upon completion of the study, the research institute will publish its findings in scientific journals and other publications related to controlled-environment agriculture. Kind LED has brought the future of grow lighting alive and made it attainable for commercial, professional, scientific and novice growers.
