Hydrofarm, the country’s oldest and largest manufacturer and distributor of indoor gardening products, is pleased to announce that Paul Zato has been appointed Midwest territory manager.
Paul comes to Hydrofarm from a career in the hospitality industry, most recently working for Hilton Hotels and Resorts in Chicago, Illinois. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in public and environmental affairs. As Hydrofarm’s Midwest territory manager, Paul will be responsible for handling retail accounts in Indiana, Illinois, and Western Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula. He will be based in Chicago working closely with Michigan territory manager Joseph Zdesar. He reports to Kathy Giovannelli, Hydrofarm’s eastern sales manager.
Kathy had this to say: “Paul has great people skills and a wonderful work ethic, both of which will serve him well in his new position. I’m very happy to be welcoming him to Hydrofarm.”
“It’s great to be joining the team at Hydrofarm, and that’s exactly what it feels like here—a real team, with everyone working towards a shared goal. We all want to be the best at what we do, and I’m excited to be a part of that and for growing along with this world-class organization,” says Paul.
When not focusing on the indoor gardening industry, Paul prefers to spend his time outside. He is an avid snowboarder, hiker, camper, kayaker, long boarder, and thunderstorm fan.
