Hotbox.Farm Interviewed on Industry Issues

A Langley, BC-based company caught the attention of the media recently for its line of mobile gardens on wheels. CTV Vancouver recently took a tour of Hotbox.Farm’s headquarters in its Langley garage. The visit was prompted by a federal court decision finding that medical marijuana users should be allowed to grow their own pot at home, striking down legislation implemented by the previous Conservative government. The Hotbox is a double-insulated, insurable utility trailer that can house up to 40 plants or so. It comes with everything needed to grow plants, including grow lights, a watering system, waterproof flooring, a dehumidifier, reservoir and exhaust system. “I experienced all the pitfalls many growers do,” explains Graham Ford, owner. “You would require building permits, electrical inspections, possibly a fire department inspection…but because [Hotbox is] on wheels, because it’s plug and play, there’s no safety concerns.”
