A Pennsylvania woman received quite a surprise in a bag of potatoes she purchased from a local big box store: a live, 3.5-ft. snake. “First I saw its underbelly, which is white. I thought I had a bad potato. Instead I had a snake,” she said. “The bag was sealed. The only thing that’s in it are little holes so I’m assuming it was in there when I bought it. I screamed.” Raygor put the snake inside a reptile enclosure she had from previous pets and then called the store. Upon calling the store she was told to bring the snake to the lawn and garden department where they would take care of it. After some online research, Raygor said she believes the snake was just a corn snake.
