Plan to Attend the 2nd Vegetable Grafting Symposium in San Diego

The day-long 2nd Vegetable Grafting Symposium takes place in San Diego, California, at the Double Tree San Diego Mission Valley Hotel on November 6, 2013. The event’s purpose is to discuss the development of grafting technology in order to improve sustainability and competitiveness of the United States fruiting vegetable industry. Hosted by the symposium’s objectives are to:

  • Summarize the current status and expected future of grafting as a technology for enhancing American vegetable production systems (profit, resource efficiency and sustainability)
  • Increase understanding of challenges and opportunities associated with preparing and using grafted vegetable plants
  • Strengthen and diversify partnerships required to widen the application of vegetable grafting as cornerstone technology
  • Describe team goals and approaches
