Hydrofarm is happy to announce the appointment of Jennifer MacIntosh as director of marketing. Jennifer comes to Hydrofarm from her role in marketing leadership at Monster Inc., previously known as Monster Cable. At Monster, Jennifer was part of the core team that co-created and launched the Beats by Dr. Dre brand, acknowledged to be one of the most successful brands in consumer electronics today. Jennifer also led the Monster Inc. marketing and creative team in planning and implementing marketing campaigns for more than 4,000 other products, including high-end electronics accessories and headphones.
At Hydrofarm, Jennifer is responsible for all facets of the company’s marketing strategy, including merchandising, advertising, packaging, communications and event planning. Jennifer is currently completing her master of business administration at Babson College’s Frank W. Olin Graduate School of Business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design communication from California State University, Sacramento. Jennifer and her husband Doug and their two children live in Mill Valley, California, with their dog Kalani. “I can’t think of a better fit for my experience and skills than Hydrofarm,” says Jennifer. “I’m overjoyed to be joining the company at such an exciting time in its growth, both domestically and internationally.” Hydrofarm CEO Peter Wardenburg says Jennifer has already proven to be a great addition to the Hydrofarm team. “We are pleased to have found someone with the right mixture of experience and energy that will strengthen the Hydrofarm brand name and customer experience for all of our offerings.”
